Jennifer grew up in Omaha, Nebraska. Her favorite childhood memories include long vacations driving from Omaha to Texas, to Louisiana, to Washington, and to California. She went to Benedictine college in Atchison, KS. Her degree is a Bachelor’s of Arts in Elementary and Special Education. Jennifer decided to become a teacher because she, “had some awesome teachers as a child.” She wanted to be able to impact the lives of children like her teachers had impacted her’s. Before she came to Abilene, she taught special education in Lawrence, KS, Winchester, VA, Gardener, KS, and Chapman, KS. Her hobbies are working out in the yard, baking, hiking, and spending time with her family.
