The Forensics team did great at Clay Center over Spring Break!  Jackson Welsh and Maren Meneley took 1st place in duet acting, Jackson Welsh took 1st place in impromptu and 2nd place in prose, Maren Meneley took 3rd place in poetry and program of oral interpretation, Grace Griffith took 4th place in poetry and 6th place in dramatic interpretation, Dylan Delay took 5th in program of oral interpretation, and Harlie Delay took 5th place in impromptu. 

Sign up for League Champs/Regional Wrestling Runner-up Wrestling patches in the office.  You must pay before one will be ordered for you.  Cost is $13

Attention all SPURS members, there will be a yearbook photo taken on Thursday during seminar.  Please wear your SPURS shirt to be in the group photo.

Attention Seniors:  Mrs. Bruna needs three things from you before you leave in May.  You need your parchment account set up, the post high school survey, and your final transcripts sent.  These can all be done now!!!!  Don’t wait until the last minute.  Need more information see the bulletin across from the counseling office.  

Seniors have you received a scholarship?  Mrs. Bruna would like to recognize those scholarships (local and college) in the achievement night and graduation programs, but unfortunately she can’t unless you report them on the scholarship survey located on the guidance office’s website.

The Eisenhower Easter Egg Roll is coming up on April 20th, and we are looking for some volunteers. We are looking for people to be role models and help with events like the egg roll, face painting, side walk chalk, arts and crafts stations, and chick bowling. It will mean a lot to young kids to have a wonderful Easter, so talk to Mr.Burkett in room 202 as soon as you can to ensure you can help out with the event you want to be apart of.”

 Senior pictures are due this Friday, March 22nd. If you don’t turn your senior picture in, we will use your Life Touch photo. Email them to Mr. Delay at cdelay@abileneschools.org, or you will be remembered by your Life Touch picture.

On Thursday, March 21st, during seminar, the yearbook staff will be taking group pictures for the following clubs: NHS, FBLA, German Club, Spanish Club, SPURS
and STUCO. Please meet in the commons area at the beginning of seminar.  
On Friday, March 22nd during seminar, group photos for the following clubs will be taken: Debate & Forensics, FCCLA, Scholars Bowl, and Art Club. 

Congratulations to the "QR Code Challenge" winners:  Jaden Wood, Alice Bathurst, Samantha Dewey, Emma Wildman and Abbey Brooks!  Please stop by the main office for your yummy fruit smoothie certificate sponsored the one and only Cowboy Corral and the =AHS Webpage Design class. Be on the lookout for the next "QR Code Challenge coming to a hallway near you.

Read & Discover Book Club is meeting on Friday, March 22  during seminar in the Auditorium.
