Any student interested in playing boys basketball next season, there will be a meeting during seminar in the main gym.  Returning players have been sent seminar invites.

Thursday there will be a meeting in main gym for all boys interested in playing football next year.  Returning players have been sent seminar requests.

Any girls interested in playing volleyball next year, there will be a meeting with Coach Koch during seminar on Tuesday in Gym B.  Returning players have been sent seminar pass requests.

Any girls interested in playing basketball next year, there is a meeting in Gym B today during seminar to meet with Coach Liby.  Returning players have all been sent seminar invitations.

Please remember to check the lost and found located by the office.  Whatever is left at the end of the school year will be donated.

The regular deadline for the June 8th ACT is coming up on Friday, May 3rd.  If you plan to take the June 8th ACT, get registered online at actstudent.org at your earliest convenience!  Contact the guidance office with any questions.
This is often the best test for a great score right after your junior year, so consider taking it if you are a senior of 2020 and plan to attend college!

Summer School information is available from your counselor!  If you failed a core class and plan to attend summer school, contact your counselor for a sign up sheet asap!  Summer school  begins May 28th  and runs through June 20, 2019, from 8 am-12pm.  Space is limited, so make sure you pick up a sheet, get it signed and returned to reserve your spot.

Sky Trampoline Park is having a slogan contest.  Contest ends on May 3rd.  For more details, see the flyer on the bulletin board across from the guidance office.

If  you are taking a college class next year such as speech, English Comp, or college algebra, please plan to attend an enrollment meeting Wednesday May 1st during seminar.  
You must be enrolled in Salina Tech by May 13th to take a college class next year.

Just a reminder, students if you are signing up for the June ACT, the deadline is Friday, May 3rd.  See Mrs. Bruna if you have any questions.  

KSU Air Force ROTC will be at AHS on Friday, May 3rd during lunches.  

If you are a current sophomore or junior and you have at least one FULL year of high school choir, you are invited to sign-up for AHS Singers auditions. Talk to Mrs. Whiteley about the audition process and to sign up for an audition time. Auditions will be next week.

The Community Foundation is looking for a volunteer to wear the Happy Bear suit for presentations at Kennedy.
If you are interested in helping, please let Mrs. Weishaar know!

The Salina Regional Health Center Volunteer Department is accepting applications for volunteers at SRHC during the summer months.  Any student currently in high school or college with at least a 2.5GPA is eligible. Stop by the counseling office for more information

Right now, the Red Cross has less than a three-day supply of most blood types, and blood products are being distributed to hospitals faster than donations are coming in.  Please consider donating blood at our final drive of the school year on May 2nd.  Your one pint of blood can make a HUGE difference.  Sign up is outside the office.
