FFA Members - If you are interested in becoming an FFA Officer for the 2019 - 2020 school year, please fill out the intent-to-run form on Canvas. These forms are due by Monday at 3:30pm and will not be accepted after that. Applications are due (on canvas) by next Friday, April 12th.
Interviews will take place on April 17th from 6-9pmin Mrs. West’s classroom. 

Congratulations to the FFA members that competed at Cloud County Aggie Days yesterday!

Our Veterinary Science team placed 1st out of 32 teams and had 4 out of the top ten students - Josiah Schwarz won first place over all out of 146 contestants, Evie Schwarz was 6th place, Will Stroda was 7th place and Anessa Leidig was 7th place. 

Food Science placed 4th out of 15 teams and had two kids in the top 10 - Sarah Cooper was 4th out of 57 contestants and Jackie Sleichter was 6th place. 

The Agronomy team placed 5th. 

The Livestock team placed 7th overall and had one student in the top ten - Will Stroda placed 9th out of 65 contestants. 

The Entomology team placed 5th overall and had one student in the top ten - Grant Heintz placed 9th. 

A lot of work went into preparing for these contests and we are proud of you all for your efforts! 

The Booster staff invites you to please take the food survey that is on the Booster site. This is your chance to honestly express your opinions on the food served here every day! The lunch staff needs to know what they can do to better your lunchtime experience at AHS.

Are you interested in joining the Air Force ROTC at Kansas State University?  If so, representatives will be here on Friday, April 5th during seminar.  See Mrs. Bruna to sign up.

The Debate and Forensics team is hosting a shoe drive fundraiser.  We are in need of shoes in good condition, new or used.  The seminar that collects the most shoes by Wednesday, April 10th will win a pizza party from us!  Please bring your shoes to your seminar teacher. 

FBLA members - see Mrs. James to sign up to work the Prize Walk at the Eisenhower Easter Egg Roll.

The Eisenhower Easter Egg Roll is coming up on April 20th and we are looking for some volunteers.  We are looking for people to be role models and help with events like the egg roll, face painting, sidewalk chalk, arts and crafts stations, and chick bowling.  It will mean a lot to young kids to have a wonderful Easter, so talk to Mr. Burkett in room #202 as soon as you can to ensure you can help  out with the event you want to be part of.

Your 2019 prom is one  week away from Saturday.  Sign up and purchase your tickets in the office.  $50 a ticket.  Seniors - remember even though your Prom is free, you still have to sign up in the office.  Sign up for After Prom on Canvas.  There is also a sign up in the office.  Guest passes are due today.

NHS has a meeting today during seminar. Please meet in room 202.
Are you the best at Fortnite, smash, or any other video game? How about proving your skill for prizes? We are looking for interest in competitive gaming. The National High school E-sports League is looking for you to compete. If you want to try to compete nationally in the video game of your choice talk to Mr. Burkett in Room 202.”
